How to change internet wireless connection key ?
Hi, I hv Linkys router & I have shared my internet wireless key with my neighbour but now i want to change it so that he cannot use my internet.Pls help.
Assuming you have the popular WRT54GL, the wireless encryption code is set on the Security tab of the Wireless Administration page. To get into your router, do this:
1. In a browser's address window (preferably on a machine wired to the router rather than a wireless connection), enter the IP address 192.168.1.1 into the address window.
2. A login box should pop up. If you have changed the password, enter it and click OK. If you haven't changed the password, just click OK.
3. Go to the Wireless/Security tab and change the passphrase. Copy at least the first key EXACTLY so you can transfer it to all your wireless computers and devices. If you can copy-and-paste it into a notepad file on a flash drive or such, you can greatly simplify the change on those computers/devices.

How do I find out my wireless network key?
I bought a linksys wireless router model # WRT54G. I follwed the setup disk and everything. It is showing that I have a very strong connection but I can't connect b/c I don't know the wireless network key.
Look in your manual for the IP Address of your router then type it into your browser. That will get you int o the menus on it and let you find the settings you need.
