Has anyone ever worked as a West at home agent?
Its a company that does at home inbound calls for different corportations and I wanted to know if anyone has worked with them and what was your experience.
West at home agent is a good company to work for. Depending on what project you are actually assigned to until you get accustomed to their software will depend on how much talk time you recieve and how much you can earn.

Someone currently working for West at Home or TeleTech, please?
What are the best and worst parts of these two companies? Would you personally recommend working for them? Will you share what the earning potential really is with these companies?
It's crazy, Every time I turn around that website is being suggested/talked about. Hmmmm. Thanks for putting it out there again for me to think about.
I initially got hired by West at Home, which is a huge joke. Their training pays whatever teh minimum wage for your state is, and 7.00/hr. or talk time, whichever is higher, for the time you work. Your schedule is based around what they need, you don't have set hours...it's on an as needed basis and you work in 1/2 hr. increments. The training is self paced and taught, and their testing for what you've learned isn't necessarily based on the information they give you in training.
I failed the testing, which is absolutely obsurd. I've never, ever had a problem at work before... and after you fail the testing, you don't have a job.
I now work for Tele-tech which pays alot more (9.25/hr. during and after training), they offer MUCH more support and the training is done by actual people as opposed to power point/flash. Teletech also gives you a headset and phone that they charge you for in increments from your paycheck. And are overall, MUCH better to deal with.
