Value of vintage GE Compressor?
I am trying to find the approximate value of a vintage GE compressor but am having no such luck.

It belonged to my grandfather so i'm pretty sure it's from the 60's or earlier. It's very large in size and is working.
Anyone have any idea what the value is? I am pretty clueless. Someone offered my aunt $50 for it but even though I know nothing about it that seems pretty low.

electronics fall in the short side of the stick - nobody wants them because they are energy hogs, inefficient compared to modern counterparts, bulky and large, loud, noisy, and you absolutely can't find parts for repair, and general fire hazards
furniture retains and gains in value,
unless the purchaser is an avid mechanic, that happens to be recreating an "antique feel" garage for a gimmick - you probably not going to get much for it
