I have a viper remote start in a pontiac GTO, i had to get the bypass and the other?
other key for the transponder. it NEVER starts on the first try, ussually always the seconds. but once in a while it doesnt even start. is it the bypass key thats causing the problem? The key starts the ignition thats in the bypass but the key isnt the same as the original key because it was copied..so it isnt PERFECT. could that be the reason as well? i might have them take out the bypass key and replace it with the original..would that be hard for me to do? thanks
We stopped dealing with aftermarket starters for this very reason. My suggestion is to take it to the installer and have him figure it out.
