Training Beer Bar
why don't BARS recycle their beer bottles?! Are they even recycleable?
i work at a bar that throws their beer bottles away along with the trash, and it bothers me, because at home...i recycle EVERY little SCRAP! Because i believe recyling does save the landscape in the long term.
I notice lots of dump yards as i was taking the train (amtrak) from PA to NY, and i never realize how dirty this planet has become!
Are beer bottles even recycleable?
From what a garbage guy told me...it would have to be rinsed out before you can recycle it, which is why lots of people don't because its inconvenient.
what is your thoughts about this?!
In Canada we have paid a deposit for beer bottles since the 60's. It used to be 5 cents each, but now it's 10 cents each. But we receive this money back when we return the beer bottles, which then go back to the manufacturers, where they are sterilized and reused.
You will never find beer bottles littering the side of Canadian roads because of this. Just think of how much money you could earn every night if you turned those bottles your bar discards, into cash!
