Got a speeding ticket at one of those speed traps, cop added citations?
I got a speeding ticket the other day and multiple citations.
One for no proof of insurance.
I got insurance - I swear. Couldn't find the paper work for anything. Printed out a temporary card when I got home.
Another citation for no DPS tint sticker. WHAT IS THIS? My tint IS legal. In addition, the cop eyeballed my tint; he used no type of meter to read the percentage.
I will pay for the speeding ticket and show proof of insurance and have that citation thrown out. But, I am not guilty of the last. What do I need to do to beat the window tint charge?
FYI, I live in Texas.

The law requires you to CARRY proof of insurance. Since you did not have it available, you were in violation of the law. Take your proof to the court and the judge may just drop that one.
When you get a window tint done in Texas the guy doing the tinting is suppose to stick a DPS sticker on it to PROVE it is legal. The cop does not have to use a meter or even look through it. No DPS sticker = illegal and he can ticket you.
You really must have pissed off the cop for him to give you three tickets at one stop.

Tint meter on 70%, 35%, 20% window tint
why on earth would someone do this?
i was driving home and it was past midnight and i see this naked person hiding behind a pole (one of those 1 meter high plastic ones with a refelector on it) i was like wtf???????? i thought i was losing it so i turned around to see if they was still there, i didn't see em so i turned around to go back home and i drove really slowly past the spot where i saw them. through the dark tint of the car i saw someone kneeling down next to a fence, i'm pretty sure it was the same person. again wtf??????? why would someone do this? i'm pretty sure there was no party because i didn't see cars parked outside the house, and the house was a bit in the bush.
