I just bought a fish tank.?
Its 1.5 gallons and a nice little tank. Came with a filter and light. I bought all of the following items at wal-mart: a thermometer, a small net, two plastic plants, tropical flakes, some filter replacements, and white gravel. I filled the tank up 65% of the way with bottle of deer park water(just to be safe lol). Tomorrow I was planning on buying two african frogs and two guppies and the water temp is ether 60 or 70 degrees(because I'm a noob I can't really tell). Am I doing anything wrong? Do I need to buy anything else at wal-mart tomorrow? Should I wait a couple of days to buy the fish? Thank you for reading this I would love to see your thoughts!
That should be enough. But since you have tropical fish you should really get a heater. and also you don't actually need deer park water... you just use ordinary tap water then boil and it should be fine.
be careful because guppies breed a lot and you should really ask the people at the fish shops to see what breed can cope with the other breeds coz guppies tend to peck at other fishes.
