Vodka for breakfast?
Ok, so I'm having vodka on the rocks for breakfast. (sooo good). Does drinking alcohol early in the morning really do any more harm than drinking it in the evening? Because, you know, I'm planning on having it for dinner as well. lol.
Just curious, because people always say, "it's too early" to drink.
star _lite 57:
I work the graveyard shift. (overnight)
2130 to 0630
So I guess my "evening" is actually in the morning, lol.
if you work 3rd shift, there is nothing wrong with vodka in the morning. i like to have a drink after work myself, it just happens that when i get done, it's 5 pm not 6 am. people who say it's to early to drink are the ones that mention the alocoholic word. i myself prefer to be called a drunk. and besides, you can't drink all day unless you start in the morning!

How to Drink $13.29 In How to Drink, Victoria Moore explores how and what to drink in the context of our everyday lives, throughout the seasons and at all times of day. Because the time of year is often crucial in determining the perfect drink, the book is arranged by season and occasion, but also contains “year-round show-stoppers.” Also included: Drink recipes of every type, from breakfast smoothies to after dinner drinks How to select the best drinks for each occasion, and the best spirits for each drink Advice on creating a drinks pantry and which glasses to choose Food suggestions and recipes to complement the drink, rather than vice versa …and so much more. Victoria Moore is a master of her subject, a true connoisseur of all things liquid. Her extensive knowledge of ingredients, flavors, cultures, and history make it clear that this book can only be a culmination of years of travel, research, and experimentation. Charming, exceedingly well-written, and full of humor, How to Drink shows us that it doesn’t need to be difficult or expensive to drink well; it just requires a little care and some basic knowledge. Irish Breakfast Black Tea, Box of 20 foil tea bags: K $3.23 The Irish have always been great tea drinkers. They drink their tea brewed very strong. In fact, there is a common saying among the Irish that a proper cup of tea should be ''''strong enough for a mouse to trot on''''. Irish Breakfast, with its robust flavor, is usually enjoyed only in the morning (except for the Irish who drink it all day). Usually it is blended with an Assam tea base. Assam is a district in northeastern India that lies on the Indian-Burmese border. It produces more black tea than any other area on earth, with the probable exception of a few places in China. Assam’s tea gardens cover some four hundred thousand acres of verdant rolling plains on both sides of the mighty Brahmaputra River. Assam is proof that not all fine quality tea has to be high grown. This rainy valley is the birthplace of Indian tea. Robert Bruce discovered the plant growing wild here in 1823, and the first commercial lot of tea ever produced outside of China--eight chests in all--came from Assam in 1839. For our Irish breakfast tea, we use high quality, full bodied, robust Assam teas. The resulting blend is a dark brown tippy leaf that brews up a deep red liquor that is hearty, malty and rich in flavor. This tea is delicious with milk and sugar. |

Beer, more than just a breakfast drink
Top 5 Quick and Easy Breakfast Ideas
Because breakfast provides people with the fuel to start the day, it is one of the most important meals of the day. Eating breakfast keeps one alert, awake, energetic, and focused. Because we all have busy lifestyles, it can often seem too time consuming to make breakfast. Fortunately, there are many quick and easy breakfast ideas that help one make time to have a good and healthy start to the day.
The following are top 5 quick and easy breakfast ideas:
1. Cereals are a popular way of getting a quick breakfast. There are many healthy cereals that contain oats, bran, and wheat. Popular healthy cereals include Mini-Wheats, Cheerios, and Raisin Bran. You can balance the meal with a piece of toast, fruit, and glass of milk. Both children and adults love this easy to make breakfast meal. You can also use a slow cooker to cook oatmeal overnight. In the morning you will have a hot and delicious meal. Add fruit and cinnamon to add flavor to the hot meal.
2. The night before, you can boil some eggs, peel them, and store them in the refrigerator. As well, mix different cut up pieces of fruit in a bowl and store in the refrigerator. In the morning you just have to warm up the boiled eggs and uncover your fruit bowl. It is quick and easy. Sprinkle some granola over the fruit and make a piece of toast or toasted English muffin.
3. A delicious breakfast sandwich is another easy to make meal. Toast an English muffin and spread butter or mayonnaise. Add several slices of cheese and a few slices of sliced deli meats. You can add veggies to the sandwich if you want. Along with the sandwich, have a glass of milk and some fruit or yogurt.
4. There are a number of easy breakfast meals that do not require preparation. This can include: store bought sliced banana bread or muffins and breakfast bars that include cereal bars, oatmeal bars, and granola bars. Yogurt is another example of a quick food for people on the go. It is very healthy and you can add fruit and granola to the yogurt. There are a variety of yogurt flavors available. A fruit smoothie is another popular breakfast food. Just mix fruit, yogurt, and fruit juice in a blender and you have a thick and filling meal.
5. If you are making a mad rush out the door, grab a piece of fruit such as a banana. It will give you energy and keep your stomach from rumbling. You can even make a peanut butter sandwich the night before and eat it on the way to work. There are also special breakfast drinks you can purchase.
If you are one that has very little time in the mornings, before you go to bed, set the table for breakfast with bowls, glasses, spoons, cereal box, bread, butter, fresh fruit...etc. It will help cut down on breakfast preparation time. To have a productive day, a good breakfast is essential. Fortunately, there are many ways for you to make time to have something delicious and nutritious to eat.
