Is my Coach Bag a fake?

Okay so I recently got this coach bag for a gift and I've never had one before so I'm concerned about it being real or fake. I've checked out sites describing how to tell if it is fake or legit, but I'm still not exactly sure. The things that make me concerned is the pattern or lake there of, as there is not a single CC on the bag. The other thing is the Serial No. Which is L4C-9956, if that helps anyone else tell if its fake or not. On the other hand the zipper is leather and the stitching seems thick like some sites said it should be. Also if it helps any the tag-thing on the inside says "This is a Coach bag. It was handcrafted in the United States of completely natural Glove-tanned cowhide. The variations in the grain are characteristic of natural full grain leather. 1941"

Not all coach bags have a pattern, but usually the zipper pulls usually say coach on them. I'd say if it's real leather and has the tag on the inside then yes, it's probably real.

Sunless tanning (also known as self tanning, fake tanning, or UVfree tanning) refers to applying chemicals to the body to produce an effect similar in appearance to a more traditional suntan. Sunless tanning arose in response to links between sun exposure and skin cancer discovered in the 1960s, along with other alternatives to natural sun tanning such as the use of a sunbed or tanning bed.The most effective products available are sunless tanning or self tanning lotions and sprays that contain dihydroxyacetone (DHA) as the active ingredient. The tan is not a dye, stain or paint, but a chemical reaction between the DHA and the amino acids in the dead layer on the skin surface. citation needed] This is similar to a reaction well known to food chemists called the Maillard reaction. Yamaha Handcrafted Acoustic GC31 GC SERIES. The GC Series represents Yamaha's new handcrafted line of classic nylon string acoustic guitars. Our craftsmen's close attention to detail guarantees the best quality. Whether you choose the warm sweet tone of Cedar or the clear rich resonance of Spruce, either top will provide you with outstanding quality. BRACING. Next to the woods themselves, the bracing of the guitar top is the most critical factor affecting the instrument's final sound. Although the basic design is still very close to the original pattern proposed by Torres in the 1880's, refinements and improvements have been made to ensure optimum tone and volume with modern strings and playing techniques. BRIDGE & SADDLE. The thickness of the third string in a nylon set tends to limit its movement at the bridge and nut causing it to respond as if it were shorter than the other strings. Yamaha eliminates this common intonation problem with a special offset step cut into the saddle at the third string. FINISH. A guitar's finish has a very real effect on its sound. A fine guitar, with a properly applied finish, will continue to sound better as time goes on. Tanning Addiction

Tanning Addiction

$79.66

Tanning addiction is a rare syndrome where an individual appears to have a physical and/or psychological addiction to sunbathing or the use of tanning beds. The mechanism of the addiction is unknown at this time.In 2005, a group of dermatologists published a study showing that frequent tanners experience a loss of control over their tanning schedule, displaying a pattern of addiction similar to smokers and alcoholics.Biochemical evidence indicates that tanning addicts are addicted to an opioid release experienced during tanning. When frequent tanners took an endorphin blocker in a 2006 study, they experienced severe withdrawal symptoms, while infrequent tanners experienced no withdrawal symptoms under the same conditions. Tanning Bed

Tanning Bed

$70.1

A tanning bed or sunbed is a device emitting ultraviolet radiation (typically 95 UVA and 5 UVB, +/3) used to produce a cosmetic tan. Regular tanning beds use several fluorescent lamps that have phosphor blends designed to emit UV in a spectrum that is somewhat similar to the sun. Smaller, home tanning beds usually have 12 to 28 100 watt lamps while systems found in salons can run from 24 to 60 lamps, each consuming 100 to 200 watts. There are also high pressure tanning beds that generate primarily UVA with some UVB by using highly specialized quartz lamps, reflector systems and filters. These are much more expensive, thus less commonly used. A tanning booth is quite similar to a tanning bed, but the individual stands while tanning and the typical power output of booths is higher. Esperance Mermaid Leather

The Changing World of Saddlery

In the past saddles were handcrafted out of the finest materials and decorated with great flair.   The leather was tanned, dyed, rubbed and polished until it gleamed.  The new world of saddlery is less about aesthetics and more about functionality.

The saddle has been around since the dawn of the Iron Age when man finally began to realize that any extended period of time in the saddle was too uncomfortable to bear without some aid.   Ironically prior to around 700 BCE man fought battles bareback.  Imagine the challenge of the great ancient armies charging into one another with weapons and no leverage.  Once invented the saddle has been an invaluable tool for the comfort of horseback riders.

As the saddle evolved over time they became more and more decorative and elaborate and more and more costly.  As it became apparent that a good saddle was essential to successful riding and a healthy horse everyone adopted their use.  The addition of the stirrup made all the difference as anyone who has ever ridden bareback can attest to.  It is quite a challenge to ride without the aided balance that comes from having stirrups.

The main material used for saddlery for centuries was predominantly leather.  These leather saddles were as simple as possible for the poor or working class or as elaborate as your wealth would allow.  Saddles became another way to advertise your social status.  The same way a shiny new German sports car would initiate envy in your neighbors if you brought one home today.  Just like a man is often judged by his clothing, a horse’s esteem in the eyes of others can be increased with good packaging.  Saddles through out history were often decorated in real gold and silver and covered in jewels for royalty.  The working man has always been able to procure a simple saddle for his horse and just has to accept the fact that the cost must be borne while taking some comfort in knowing that at least it is the most costly item on your tack list.

Currently saddles can be made out of synthetic material that is so amazingly lightweight it is almost impossible to resist.  This material makes it so much easier especially for female riders and children who may lack the upper body strength to drag a heavy leather saddle around and heave it over their heads onto the back of the horse.  If you have never seen or used on of these saddles before when you go to pick it up you may wind up in the dirt on your backside.  Sauntering up to it and giving it the good heave ho needed to hoist a heavy saddle you could easily overcompensate and lose your balance.  At which point of course you will swear that a horse can laugh!
