I wan't to get a Sun Tan but I always burn. I am light complected and I think that may be the problem. I use sun tan lotion and avoid sunscreen because I hear it STOPS TANNING.
Does anyone have a solution?
Or is it just a lost cause?
Try going out in the sun for short periods of time every day until you achieve the tan that you want. Good luck.

Tanning products, both sunless and sun, go to work on the epidermis, otherwise known as the outside layer of your skin, and not the dermis also known as the inner layer. Nonetheless, the layer of epidermis that is affected by sunless vs. the layer affected by sun tanning products changes. Sun tanning lotions, body tanning spray, gels in addition to other various products, go to work on the stratum basale or deepest layer. And sunless tanning items go to work on the stratum corneum or outermost layer.
WHEN – As a tan sun lotion could have no sunscreen used for protection outside, the best time to make use of sun tanning cream is at night prior to going to bed. If you decide to make use of this hours prior to going to bed, be sure you have about a couple of hours to check for stain before you may well put on your ordinary garments once more. Note that if your lotion consists of additional coloring formula or if you're utilizing spray lotions, discoloration can be a main problem and you won't to go to bed and stain blankets; so utilize these types of merchandise at an earlier time during the night or whenever you have more time to "dry" after using (at least a couple of hours).
WHAT – Make sure you have all the important stuff you require with you. Select what you like to have on for tanning lines, whether it's a bathing suit, undergarments, etc. Use caution in your selections given that the merchandise can stain or run thus select old outfits, particularly without nylon (permanently stains this material), and not loose outfits (to inhibit runny lotions). You may also need to be able to shower or wash earlier. Therefore round up a cotton washcloth or whatever you make use of to exfoliate your skin (sponge and other product, and so on.), soap, whatever moisturizer you may want to use, your self-tanning product, disposable clear gloves, a nail brush, a ball cap, hair pins or accessories to keep hair from your face, a sponge roller brush or paintbrush if you would apply item to your back, and access to a timer.
TIMING NOTE: if you are not going to utilize throwaway gloves, you may have to wash your hands and brush your nails roughly each and every minutes while applying the sun tanning cream so that they don't stain orange. That is the main reason the timer is needed.

I'm only 13, so I'm not an experienced writer. I haven't spellchecked it or anything, so I'm sure my grammar is atrocious. This is just the beginning of the story, so it doesn't have much of a plot yet, and I'm not really sure where I'm going with it.
It's long…you don't have to read it all if you don't want to. But read some of it, please, and comment on it.
I realize the paragraphs should be spaced out, and that's how I typed it originally on WordPad, but it didn't turn oout that way on here. Sorry.

-OK so hun, writing is not about age, you should be able to not stand by your work and just have your work be by itself. If you are referring that we should not be harsh on you, don't, criticism is what it is. If you haven't spell checked or done anything, you should go ahead and do it before posting it here. Otherwise you should learn how to spell. You should plan out where you are going with your work.
Your grammar is very…sad. Yes, I did read this piece. Whether I should regret that time reading it, I do not know.
-But that's the way it always was in these parts. This is one of your first mistakes. You started with a dependent clause, and ended there as well. A correct way to start with a: But, And, So, Yet, or Or (excuse me for the capitalization) would be to end with an independent clause; But that's the way it always was in these parts, it was always dry and unbearably hot.
But I'm not here to give you a grammar lesson, I suggest you visit Grammar Girl (google it) instead.
I think this has potential, but the characters lack realistic feeling and so does dialogue.
