I wanted to thank everyone for all the constant support and answers when needed on here! Were so excited baby boy #2 is scheduled via c-section tomorrow morning!!!! Good luck to those who are expecting, who have been blessed with children, and those trying to conceive. Motherhood is such a wonderful experience and I wish nothing but the best for everyone!

What are the finacial help or welfare programs for single moms(w/o child support) in California are there?
I'm not sure about welfare but WIC has helped us a great bit... We get our basic groceries free and at the WIC office makes sure you and your child are healthy. I also get to talk to a nutritionist. It's for pregnant women and women with children under the age of 5. You'll have to bring your child and they will make sure that he/she is getting enough nutrients as well...
