pressure during snooker?
i play snooker at a high level and im fine during the game, however towards the end when the scores are tight, i tend to let the pressure get to me. i can often feel my head throbbing and i start to miss shots i would otherwise be able to make. what can i do to help me deal with?
any song ideas?
Use the the pressure positively instead of thinking man I am nervous and I am going to screw up which often causes players in both pool and snooker to make big errors such as jumping up, incomplete strokes, crooked stroke, shooting way too fast etc. I find when I start to get nervous I just try to stay down on the shot longer and keep my body as still as possible while stroking

Snooker provides best ever Wembley comeback
At first you would wonder why snooker but if you were watching the snooker on Tuesday evening then you will know exactly what is meant.
The snooker tournament, quite rightly titled the Masters involved Englishman Ronnie "The Rocket" O'Sullivan and Australian star Neil Robertson. Robertson, who was obviously totally psyched up for this match was the one who played more like a rocket going ahead 3-0 after an exquisite snooker provided him with the opportunity to get his first century break of the match. O'Sullivan won the final frame just before the break to make it 3-1.
What happened during the break is somewhat of a mystery as O'Sullivan roared back to lead 4-3 but Robertson was not finished and promptly won the 8th frame with a staggering 140 clearance to make the scores level again at 4-4.
Along came O'Sullivan again and this time with a break of 106 to go ahead once more 5-4. Robertson then struggled in the final frame unable to find the form that pushed him 3-0 up at the start and O'Sullivan did not need asking twice to take advantage of the fact making a steady break of 76 to win the 10th frame and match.
The result has now set up a quarter final with fellow Englishman Peter Ebdon for which the best online bookmakers have lowered the odds on O'Sullivan winning with the price falling slightly from 5/2 to 6/4. Peter Ebdon on the other hand is priced nicely to beat O'Sullivan in the quarter final at 7/2 or you could go for the favourite at 6/1 on.
