Can anyone help me with activities for a fall-festival-themed wedding?

My fiance and I would like to set up a mini-fall festival to help people kill time between our outdoor wedding ceremony and the indoor reception (about 2 hrs in the beg. of Oct.). We're thinking caricature artists, caramel apple slice dipping, decorating pumpkins with stickers, wedding-themed beanbag toss, plywood cut-outs of faces for a photo-op...so now I have multiple questions:
1. Is this too weird for it to not go over well?
2. Can you give me any general activity suggestions that are entertaining but relatively cheap and fairly easy to put together?
3. Can you give me any ADULT ideas...it's been pretty easy to plan for children, but tough to think of adult-friendly activities...

Any help would be REALLY appreciated! I'm excited about it, but having a tough time planning a variety. Thank you! :)

I dont think it would be too weird. If there are any stuffy people they would warm up to it very quickly. I know I hate standing around waiting for hours for something to eat after the ceremony.

If it's not a wet day and still early enough in the afternoon, and sense it's an outside even you could have piles of leaves for the kiddos to play in. All raked up nice and neat into piles to jump into.

If possible you could also get a used tire and make a great tire swing for them.

For adults and kids alike why not bobbing for apples. I doubt woman would want to get their hair messed up or anything but I know a lot of guys who would find this very amusing.

Also for adults why not apple cider with a kick? Have someone serving alcoholic apple cider and also some hot apple cider with Cinnamon sticks sense it might be a bit chilly out. That sound so good! You could also cut pumpkin and apple pies into bite sized squares. Serve them in a little cupcake liners so no one gets too messy it might be a fun little snack. A fire pit surrounded by stones with a big nice bonfire would be super cool too!

Pretty much anything that you love to do in the fall would work great. When I think of October I think of playing in the leaves, apples and pumpkins, honey straight off the combs, carving pumpkins, drinking hot cider with friends when the sun goes down. It's all stuff that gives me that "warm fuzzy feeling" of care free fun :)

Hope that helped you out!

What would be better for high jump?

I have a pair of Nike Zoom High Jump 3's that I just got. I've never jumped in them before, and as I opened up the box, I found these strange looking spikes in them that look like blunt spikes. Perhaps not blunt, but it's almost as if the tips were sliced off of them. We jump on rubber outdoor tracks and my coach suggested not to use the spikes that came with the shoes. I just want to know if I should use the ones that came with the shoes or traditional 1/4 inch pyr. or needles, and why.

Trads for sure, spikes cause to much damage,.
