How to make a frame for a large non-standard size poster?
I have a poster around 4'x4'. I want to put it in a simple black frame, and perhaps put a sheet of glass in front of it (I'm also open to other ideas). Getting a custom made frame at a store seems to cost >200 dollars. Is there a cheaper way to do this? Can I buy a sheet of glass and build the thing myself? Anything to watch out for? I can't find much on the internet about this. Thanks!
My father did something similar. He went to Home Depot and asked for advice. They showed him which molding to use and cut a piece of Plexiglass to size for him and how it should all go together. It looks good and can be done with regular glass too.
