Sign Minors Served

When will colleges start paying their football players and not require them to attend class?
I think this would be a win/win for the universities, the fans and the players. Players could be signed by the college who offers the most in terms of money, and they unrestricted free agency could lead to some interesting moves each off season. The university would then field a team of the best talent money can afford, and there wouldn't be all of the pesky NCAA rules. It would also serve as an NFL minor league system whereby players could gain experience prior to going to the NFL.
I love the personal attacks. It shows a great (lack of) foundation in making a logical point.
About 40 years ago in some cases.

Unaccompanied Minors $4.99 Synopsis: It's Christmas Eve and a huge blizzard has just shut down the airport, threatening to ruin holiday plans for all stranded travelers. Snowed in en route to their father's house, two "Unaccompanied Minors" - dubbed UMs - Spencer and his little sister, Katherine, are ushered to the airport's Unaccompanied Minors Room, a holding cell for dozens of stranded, parent-free kids from all over the country. Caught in the crossfire of projectile cupcakes and juice boxes and desperate to escape, Spencer makes a run for freedom along with four other UMs, who couldn't be more different if they tried: spoiled rich girl Grace, trailer-park tomboy Donna, academic overachiever Charlie and comic-book geek Timothy Wellington a.k.a. "Beef." With the airport's peevish Passenger Relations Manager Oliver Porter, his lackey assistant Zach Van Bourke and every airport security guard hot on... |

John Scott plays Bach: Prelude and Fugue in a minor, BWV 543
Is it pretty much an unwritten rule that cops are above the law?
I have been pulled over for minor traffic violations before (who hasn't) - I don't mind paying a ticket for speeding or rolling a stop sign if I was actually doing it... BUT... I always see the police cars in my area disregarding traffic laws...
I see them running stop signs, speeding (like going 60 in a 30) without their sirens or flashers on, running red lights, and parking in no-parking zones (not in cases of emergency).
I also fear cops - knowing that the only reason I am not face down on the ground with batons raining down on me is out of their good graces... they can pretty much get away with anything...
If the police department wants to be respected and loved by the people they "serve" shouldn't they demonstrate respect for the populace and city laws?
Or is it that once you get a badge and a squad car, you just kind of get used to getting away with things (big or small)?
They think so. I see cops confiscating drugs and then selling them right back to my neighbor.
ALL COPS ARE CORRUPT!!! NO EXCEPTION!!!
