Sign Acrylic
exterior house modifications?
I have an unusual project to bid on. A client has two sections of windows that comes out from his house made in to a bay windows that are 20' tall and 12' wide.
Currently the siding on this out crop is 3/4" plywood painted with picture frame trim. The owners want to wrap them to be maintence-free, but not loosing their current style of the huge flat surfaces. White aluminum is out of the question in fear it may buckle with the changing weather and acrylic sheets is too costly.
I thought of plastics in 4'X8' sheets like they make signs out of but unable to locate a supplier. Any ideas or leads?

I have experience working in Indiana, New Carlisle, South Bend, and Carmel and know the climate. The Climate is what would make me reluctant to use vinyl or plastics; even that which signs are made discolors and becomes brittle when continuously exposed to UV rays and the elements.
You spoke of wanting to use 4X8 sheets of something . . . may I suggest using Hardi-Panel. If you aren't familar with it - it's a cementous board that comes either solid or patterned like T-111 and installs and can be trimed out nicely.
This board comes with a 50 year warranty and is impervious to all of the elements.

Plastic or Metal Sign Letters for Your Business Needs
