How can I get out of a parking ticket?
Hi. Today we parked on a retail car park which said 2 hours allowed. When we got back to the car there was a ticket on it which had been put there 2 mins after we left. The warden was there and I asked her why and she said cause we left the retail park and its not allowed. On closer inspection the sign says that "2 hours allowed on site longer if shopping"
On opening the ticket the actual ticket does not state date and time the 'envelope does' It has obviously not transacribed through.
Is this ticket valid? It is also missing car colour and the last digit of the reg.

Shouldve added. We did leave the site but it wasnt clear that you couldnt. On another retail estate you are (or used to be will check next time) allowed 2 hours whereever you go.
I got the ticket for the fact I walked off the retail park even if it was only for 1 sec she said she'd have given me a ticket
There is no harm in writing to the company, stating your reasons for why you wish them to cancel the ticket. (There should be an address on the ticket). I doubt the reasons you give will be valid for them to cancel. Bearing in mind this will be a private company and you can bet your bottom dollar they will have every aspect covered. Good luck.
