Sevice Office Light
How do you get a family member to listen to reason?
My youngest brother has a sevice business that requires a
lot of customer data management on the computer and on
the phone as well as in person. As it is now he is only doing
the minimum of in person contact and hasnt even started to
contact existing or potential customers for the upcoming season which is less than 2 weeks away.
once the season gets started he will be too busy to spend
any productive time in the office and probably wouldnt even
if he could because he doesnt like to be in the office.
He would rather hire someone but because he has poor
business practices and excessive overhead he cant afford
to do so.
i am the oldest brother and have a background in sales
and marketing and a degree in business management
and could handle all of the things that need done quite
simply and willingly but my brother doesnt want me
involved in his business because of some past friction
between us.
what can we do to repair the fence and help him see
the light??
You can't reason with someone that refuses to listen. Let him run his business the way he wants.
