Party snacks assortment?
I got the dinner set (bowtie pasta a la vodka sauce w/ julienned sun dried tomatos, crusty italian bread and cucumber salad with balsamic dressing) and wanted your opinion on if this is enough "snacks" for around 35 people;
1.Tortilla strips served with 3 different salsas
2.Pita triangles w/ vegetable hummus and roasted red pepper hummus
3.Cheese, cracker and veggie platter w/ a Dill dip and garlic and herb cheese spread, roasted red pepper slices, baby carrots and fresh tomato slices sprinkled with chopped scallions.
Is this enough of an assortment prior to the main meal? I'm on a tight budget and want to make this as painless as possible LOL
I have dessert planned already as well. Fruit salad and carrot cake.
I'm vegetarian and won't serve meat. I'm pretty sure that 100% of the people coming can live without meat for 1 party : )
Sounds good. Just make sure you have dinner ready in a timely manner. I wouldnt keep guests waiting any longer then an hour.
