Why is there only one cable service provider in most of the cities?
Why are there only one cable service provider in most cities? Do city officials get kick-backs from them to create monopoly? Most of the people get very crappy service from them as a result of not having competition. What the hell is going on?
That;s what i would like to know..the rates are so high that you have to give up something just to be able to afford it.If they had 2or 3 cable companies the rates would go down a little ; but with the kick backs or what ever treats the officials get i don;t think it will happen,our cable bill in Seattle is 70.00 dollars a month and the only extra we have is 1 HBO channel and that really sucks...my friend builds yachts and his company where he works built the big shot at comcast 1 and it was like an ocean liner..It cost millions to have and took a yr to build.with all the money they make off us he;ll probeley build another 1 just to show how many millions he has 'him and the ceo of the company.....lol
