What's with that "Funky After-Taste"?
I have not tried a lot of beers but have tried a few and know what I prefer.
First I tried some Bud Light and found I liked it but wanted to track something else as well and so I picked up a pack of Heineken, (mini keg cans). The Heineken had a "funky after-taste" to it that I just could not enjoy.
I though the Heineken was a cheaper type of beer and so I went out a while later and got a pack o Samuel Adams Boston Lager but found it also had that funky after-taste...
Recently I picked up some Coors Light and it was just as good as the Bud Light, I think I enjoy the Coors a little more TBH.
Do most beers have that "after-taste" or is it just some?
Right now my faves are Bud Light and Coors Light but most people say Bud Light isn't a great beer...
I'd guess you don't like hops, which all common beers have. Hops add the distinctive bitterness to beer. American mass-market beers have very little hops flavor, so that may be why you prefer them. Though it could be malt, I suppose. There's not much of that in the beers you like either.
