what does it mean when #10 fuse keeps blowing in my 2001 plymouth neon?


My check engine light was on for about 2 months then yesterday it just goes dead in the road, i got a new battery and realized the #10 fuse kept blowing, I have tried everything!! HELP!
The fuse cover says something about engine returns and engine modulars and the abs system. What it does is when i put it in drive or hit the gas petal the fuse then blows. As far as a mechnic if i had the money i wouldnt be asking this question.

look on the fuse diagram and it should tell you what it is. does it die every time? could be the ignition fuse???

The Dodge Neon is an amazing car, but is it underrated?


I drove a Dodge Neon recently & it was a fantastic car! Material/Interior quality was OK, but the performance was top-notch. Handled very well even when I was driving at 80-90mph :p, steering and braking were perfect. I also drove through a mountain road (no lane markings or signposts - both ways on a narrow single lane & no proper road pavement, drove on gravel and sand!!!) it performed very well. All-in-all, it was as good as the Nissan Sentra (both V4 engines), but I felt the interior of the Sentra was better.

I have a Dodge Neon as well and I have no complaints and it handles great with standard accessories at around 110.

    This is an odd suggestion, I know, but check your motor mounts… If one is broken it could cause the engine to torque over and this could be disastrous… I hope this helps!!!
