Here is the problem boys and girls?
I just downloaded all episodes of Dragon ball Z. the resolution is not that bad on my computer (video file is rmvb). Since i have an HDTV and a HD dvd with HDMI cabel, every time i download a movie or so, quality on pc is sh*t, but when i put it on USB stick its perfect on my TV. This time it is different. I converted rmvb to avi, then send it to usb stick, played it on dvd, and the quality of picture is just awful. I;m using xiliosoft ultimate converter (nice sh*t). Any tips. Maybe i should change resolution from 240*320 to something bigger? pls help!!!!!!!!!
Seriously, you have an HDTV and you resize your media to 240x320? That's the worst possible thing you can do! HD resolutions are 1920x1080 so you can do the math and figure out how low-res 240x320 is with regards to your HDTV.
I use ImToo Ultimate which is really easy to use and has LOTS of options, including converting to HD resolutions. You might want to check that out.
So when you convert your movies for your HDTV make it a point to put the best quality and resolutions possible or its a complete waste, since your display will try its best to stretch a low-res video across the screen resulting in bad quality.
Like has been said, you answered your own question really 
So keep the resolutions high. One more thing - when you download the movies, make sure you get the best quality possible, i.e. HD or BluRay quality, since every time you convert quality goes DOWN. so media with bad quality will only get much worse when you convert. hope that helps.
