If you already owned a Blackberry and loves its features, then the latest release from Research In Motion (RIM), makers of the Blackberry Storm, would leave you wanting to get a new smart phone in Blackberry Storm 2.
The Same Blackberry Fun
We can’t help but compare it with the first Storm. Yes, it features everything you like about your Blackberry. It has the same widescreen touch screen (3.25 inch/480 x 360) with the its rich colors and solid contrast that makes for a better viewing experience with a sharp and clear look all over.
Of course, the four familiar Blackberry keys: phone, menu, back and end/power that makes usability a non-issue is there. It also features the portrait and landscape QWERTY keyboards, which are great for email and messaging. And the great integrated messaging mail box comes in the pack. In fact, whether you are a fun-loving hunk or a business mogul, you would agree that nothing beats Blackberrys in messaging capabilities.
The copying and pasting mechanisms makes it very easy for messaging while on the go. This is definitely the smart phone for emails and messaging. It is also packed with the powerful 3.2 mega pixel camera that is also capable of video recording.
Better Storm Experience
The second generation Storm promises to offer a better Blackberry experience. In fact, it is said that this model is RIM’s answers to the long list of complaints that buyers have with the original.
The Blackberry Storm 2 is in fact, built better, more responsive and feature-packed compared to the first Storm. A lot of users argue that it is better looking compared to the clunkier older brother, which makes up for its being five grams heavier. The screen is also one of the best on mobile phones. Great Connectivity and Portability
As expected of smart phones, the new Storm offers great connectivity and portability features. Enabling you to carry large files wherever you go, it has a 2 GB embedded multimedia card and a 256 MB flash memory. Though other brands do not pale in comparison and offer comparable, if not superior carrying capacity.
Upping its portability plusses is a powerful battery that can last up to 305 hours and has a removable back plate to remove and replace batteries with much ease. As advertised, it claims to “help you do what you love, longer.”
Right on cue, it is already Wi-Fi capable, Bluetooth enabled and dial up networking enabled. These features give you an array of options to connect.
