Does it matter if you buy a bike at a bike shop or Target and Toys r Us?
The last bike I had was a Jamis Explorer 1 women's Hybrid Comfort bike. It was a free rental from my school and I LOVED it. Now that I'm back home and am looking into buying a bike. I was wondering if there is any real difference of buying a bike from a bike store or a Target/Toys R Us.
The bike I'm looking for is a upright comfort bike, mountain or hybrid, and not a road bike. I'm more a recreational biker, light trails, and possible commuting 14 miles.
After having used the Jamis you will not be happy at all with a low end bike from Target or Toys-R-Us. The good news is if you go to your local Jamis dealer you will find the bike you had is very reasonably priced.
