Race Fans Nascar
For those NASCAR fans that have been to a race...?
I am looking to purchase a couple of tickets to the Talladega race at the beginning of October. What are the best and most reliable sites to go to for good tickets at a good price? And should I purchase tickets in the Tower?
The best and safest place to get them is from Talladega. However, the best place at that track to watch the race is from the infield. You can buy your infield pass on the backstretch the day of the race and your kids get in free (if you have them). I have been in all the seating at Dega, including the Anniston Tower (highest) and it doesn't matter where you sit you won't see all the way around the track from any seat. The best spot that I've found is along the fence in turn two. You can see turns one and two, all the way down the backstretch, and into three. Plus you can bring your own chair, cooler, grill, and whatever else you need to relax and enjoy a great race. Plus you aren't crowded in the stands. There is a large restroom facility about 50 yards away as well as concessions close by. So, that's what I recommend and I have been going to Talladega since 1990. Wherever you go, enjoy the race because that's the best track to watch one!
PS. You can also take a walk and get different views all over the infield if you like. But my spot that I found has a great view and there's not too many people around there so you can spread out.
