Public Business
Is it any of your business if someone else is barefoot in a public place?
Like a grocery store? If you were in a store and saw someone else barefoot would you be a crybaby tattle-tale and report them to the store manager? Are you one of those people who have nothing better to do than worry about what others have or don't have on their feet? Or, would you just accept the fact that it is really none of your business and go on with your own life? There is NO LAW against going barefoot in public places, look it up.
No, it wouldn't be anyone's business. It continues to astound me how someone would presume to approach a complete stanger & start lecturing him/her, or how someone would complain & whine about someone quietly going about his/her own business.
Likely as not I would also be barefoot. Seeing another barefoot person, I might make some comment like "nice shoes," or "We appear to have the same good taste in footwear." The odd look would be quickly replaced with smiles & laughter upon seeing my bare feet.
And you are correct. Contrary to popular belief, going barefoot in a grocery store or anyplace else does not violate any laws or health codes.
