Why do I find I like the Nintendo DS better than the PSP?
Initially, I bought the PSP, bought some nice games like:
Virtua Tennis World Tour (broke now),
GTA Liberty City Stories (broke now),
GTA Vice City Stories
Virtua Tennis 3
Need for Speed Underground,
World Cup 2006 (broke now),
World Series of Poker (broke now)
The Simpsons Game
Sims 2
Yet, after a while, these become a bit dry to me.
I get out the DS, play Mario Kart DS very often, Super Mario 64 DS, and some Metroid Prime Hunters (and planning to buy more games soon). I prefer innovation of Touch gameplay if you know what I mean, and it seems like more fun. Does anybody feel similarly about this issue?
I get what you mean, bro. I have a PSP after losing my DS, but it's just not the same. The games are solid on the PSP, but their just not as...magical, or memorable, or truly excite me. I don't use any of the fancy features, so they don't have any value.
Nintendo, on the other hand, despite their 'weaker' system, are able to create software with a very addicting nature. New SMB, Tetris (not just any tetris, the nintendo one) Zelda; Phantom Hourglass...just stunning games you can't get anywhere else.
If they had a good spyro game on the PSP, and some Crash Team Racing, the PSP would be my favorite system of all time.
