Can your car be searched during a towing in a snow ban?
I was reviewing a towing report given to me by the police after my car was left parked, doors locked, on the street during a snow ban. The report reads: "Inventory of property in vehicle: Locked," which means they attempted to go through my car and found it was locked. Is this legal???
Depending on the laws in your area...I'm pretty sure they need to have "Probable Cause" to search a vehicle...but they're the police...they can FIND probable cause... at least they didnt go through your car....but you really need to check the laws in your area

how do i find out what all of the laws, regulations my property manager has broken by having my vehicle towed?
