What defines professional skin care products? The majority of the products found on the shelves these days are not what I consider to be of top quality. In addition, just because a popular celebrity is endorsing the latest and greatest skin cream does not qualify it as a good product either.
The real definition of professional skin care products is those that contain natural ingredients that work to improve the overall health of your skin. The products I am referring to will add moisture back to your skin and help reduce lines and wrinkles associated with aging skin. You may not have heard of collagen and elastin. These two very important skin proteins help keep our skin pliant and moist. As we age, our skin produces less and less of these proteins. The molecules of these proteins are too large, thus applying so-called professional skin care products that claim to contain them is just a waste of time and money.
