Private Property Vehicle
Vehicle stops on private property in California?
The client I work for is trying to implement traffic citations (for tracking purposes and Human Resources action -- not for law enforcement reporting purposes). We deal with a large piece of land that has miles of private road. It is not an HOA, but the client has very explicit traffic regulations that all employees are aware of and sign agreements to follow. Under California law, is it possible to effect vehicle stops for these purposes? I've done quite a bit of scanning in the B&P, Vehicle, and Penal Codes and have found nothing useful.
The owner of private property is the owner of that property and can set rules and laws for that property. If the owner says you drive a certain speed or whatever then you drive that speed or whatever.....
Its not that hard to understand !
