Preamp Digital
Cleaning up digital recordings of old records?
I am transferring records to cd. I have a semi pro sound card (Creative Fatality X-FI with front Bezel) a professional turntable and mixer with preamp. Right now I am running cool edit pro on my computer but I am not impressed with the results of the click/pop removal. What do the pros use? There has to be some better software out there for cleaning these?
I am not a pro, but I have digitized over 100 of my 35-45 year old LP's and cassettes with a software by Acoustica called Spin It Again. My friends have not been able to discern that the CD's I have burned from the conversions came from LP's or cassettes. I think it is excellent.
