Is my PSU enough powerfull?
600watt PSU is enough for :
core i7 860 overclock 4ghz (169watt peak)
asus p7p55d le motherboard
asus eah5870
4x2gb 1600mhz 1.65v ddr3 memory
2 sata burner
1 sata HDD
5 fan + cpu fan(zalman cnps9700nt)
PSU info: All 12V rail are rated at 18A. First PCI-E gets +12V3. The +12V2 rail is occupied by the second PCI-E connector and four of the eight pins on the 8-pin CPU connector. The other +12V1 and +12V4 rails are occupied by the second half of the CPU connector and the SATA and Molex connectors respectively.
thank you for your answers
it's ok. the total power consumption of that rig is approx. 520W, so the psu runs at 86%. further upgrades indeed are pretty limited, you can add a maximum of 2 hard drives.
