Postage Scale
Ebay sellers: when you sell, is it more convenient to buy a digital scale so yo can weight things?
instead of haveing to go to the post office to get things weigh? (need this info when quoting postage costs).
Also, how do you quote a postage (whe you post an item for sale) when you don't even know where it will be posted to?
I'm thinking of seeling on ebay but don't know how. thansk for your advice and tips if you have any. Genuine answers only. thanks
I have been selling on ebay for a while, and have always used the digital scale that I have at my office to quote prices. In ebay, or if you go to the USPS web site, you can calculate postage based on the weight and size of a package. Postal rates are generally the same no matter where you are sending within the states. You also have the option of letting buyers calculate postage before they bid, and the postage will be caculated at the end of the auction, thus saving you the trouble of quoting postage up front.
