In the LLWS the japanese players yell something before each pitch, what is it?
I noticed before every single pitch everyone on the japanese team screams something out before each pitch. Does anyone know what it is and what it means? Thanks.
They yell a kind of samurai scream to let out any anxiety and to exhale. If they're not thinking about breathing or anything that might distract them from the game, then that's more time that they have to focus on the next pitch.
