Piercing Shop Light
Is my lip piercing infected?
I've had my lip pierced for about 3 months. I got it at a professional shop. This past week I've been really sick and its started hurting and got a little swollen. I've always had crust around it when i woke up but no problems. Now its happening throughout the day. I also have a couple bad cold sores and everything in my mouth hurts so it may be another side affect? The puss that comes out is quickly dried and never really too dark in color. Its usually a light yellow tint. If you think it is, what can i do at home to fix it?
that sounds completely normal, but after three months you shouldn't be experiencing this anymore. that suggests that you aftercare might not be the best. i recommend saline soaks 3-5 times a day. it might even help the cold sores. look here http://www.safepiercing.org/piercing/ for proper aftercare and what to avoid.
you could be developping and infection. and being sick obviously doesn't help matters. start with the saline soaks, but you might want to have your piercer take a look at it. if it is infected, you don't want to ignore it. go see a doctor

i was at the mall and all of a suddon i heard laughing and i turn around and i see some of the most meanest preps from my school.my bf asked them what the hell they were laughing and they said cause i was wearing prep clothes and i'm not a prep.there are a few nice ones at my school but not all of them but they told me that in order to shop at a&f and what not i have to be a prep otherwise i am just dumb and then they left.why does everyone have to be lableb by the clothes we wear?those girls usally call me emo cause i have my nose pierced and dark brown and light blonde hair in a emo cut but i dont think you have to be one of them to shop at the stores that they call "theres".why the hell do ppl do that lable them selfs by the way they look and dress????

Don't worry, in our stereotypical world we call North America, labels are everything. Cliques are just some egotistic name they stamp on each and everyone's heads. So what if you wear clothing they consider "theirs"? It was your choice, you decided to wear it. It's not like these "preps" claimed the style as their own and will brawl you out for it. Idiocy! I had the same experience once, your not alone. In my school I am labelled a stress-queen and nerd because of straight A report cards, but I wear camouflage style clothing and khaki capris. Along with jeans and the tee bit of course 
I help the teachers and people tend to tell me to wear something like what the teachers wear: blouses and tweed uhgh!!
I tell them off obviously! I mean the people seriously don't know me, they only look at my marks and labels me. My close friends know that I'm outgoing and very energetic (to even a frightening climax). Clothes seems to drive this world.

Clothing is suppose to be comfortable and well of course it acts to hide your nudity....WHAT WOULD THE WORLD BE LIKE IF WE DID NOT WEAR CLOTHES? EVERYTHING WOULD BE SOLVED?
