Piercing Light Sign
Is this normal/possible? (ear piercing)?
I just got my ear lobe pierced again last week and it seems to have already healed - I've been light on the cleaning (I forgot to do it yesterday completely, but I'm supposed to 2 or 3x/day - this never happens). Yet there is no redness or any signs of infection. Is this normal and do I have to keep cleaning it if nothing bad has happened?
If you mean that it didn't close up but instead just healed around the edges, then yes, this is normal. This happened to me too.
The best way to clean it is not to use that spray stuff. Get some Dettol on a cotton wool ball or bud, then wet the ball or bud with a little water and wipe your earlobes with it.
Remember- NEVER take your earrings out until AFTER six weeks, otherwise they'll be highly prone to infection and could also close up.
