what are some? Not really partial to hot or cold weather, I just want my kids to be able to take in some history, do some outdoor activities, etc. Overseas is ok as well. what are some of the not so good ones?

Fort Bragg, NC has the largest youth sports/activities program of any other military base. There are tons of programs available both on base and in the community, although many will say the area itself is not good.
I also found Fort Lewis, WA to be very family friendly and there is a TON to do there.
