A Rare Buck Owens Song?
There's a song that i've really liked for a while now call "Alabama, Louisiana or Maybe Tennessee" that The Supersuckers and I was looking it up on line today and I found out that Buck Owens sang it first back in '68 on his album "I've Got You On My Mind Again". I was thrilled to discover that! I love the song and I just got really into Buck. I started looking for Buck's version on line but I couldn't find it! It's not in any of the "best of" collections or any other albums I've found so far. I couldn't find "I've Got You on My Mind Again" either. I looked on sites that sell mp3's and I looked on bit torrents but I can't find this song! It's a really great song too. Anyone know where I could find this song and why it's so hard to find?

How To Be More Attentive: 3 Easy Ways
Many of us could be more attentive and listen more carefully to others. When you do come across someone who has this skill they stand out a mile as it is rare to meet someone who actually listens.
Here are 3 easy ways to be a better listener today...
1. Actively listen. Many people think they are listening when someone else is talking but they are not. They are thinking of the response they will come back with to the person who is talking. Do not think about what you may or may not say. Do not think whether you agree with them or not. Actively listening requires you to focus 100% on what is being said. When they have finished talking do not jump in immediately. Wait and process what has just been said to you. Then take some time to think carefully what you will reply with. And then you can talk!
2. Be aware of your body language. Lean forward slightly to show your interest. If you lean backwards too far in your chair you are indicating you are not interested in the person talking or what they have to say. Nod your head once in a while to indicate you are taking in what is being said to you. You can also smile to encourage them to talk more and to draw out more conversation from the person talking.
3. Refrain from talking. Many people have never been adequately listened to. Tell yourself that you will try to speak as little as possible. This will be hard at first, but soon will become second nature. Be comfortable with silence and don’t feel you need to fill it. Allow them the space and freedom to collect their thoughts. The other person will speak again when they are ready. If the silence is not broken by them talking, ask short open-ended questions to get them going again.
It is a rare ability to be an attentive listener. The more you practice the better you will become. You will never have a shortage of people to practice with. And funnily enough these people will think you are the most interesting person they have met, just because you will one of the few people who have ever properly listened to them. Never mind that you have hardly opened your mouth and you know their life story. Enjoy being an active listener today.
