Open Corona Beer

Need some beer suggestions. ?

Pretty new to beer here. My current favorites include New Castle Brown Ale, Stella Artois, and a nice Corona w/ lime if I just want something that tastes awesome. I want to love Guinness so bad but my tastes just aren't there yet.

So no heavy stouts please.

I'm open to almost anything else, preferably crafts (flavored beers, microbrews, etc) just no suggestions of like budweiser or something like that please.

Building on Newcastle: try some Belgian style brown ales; St Bernardus, Brother Thelonius, Chimay Blue, Grimbergen, etc. You might find a particular fondness for Three Philosophers from Ommegang brewery in upstate NY; it's a Belgian style brown ale with a small amount of cherry beer added to it.

Similar to Stella: Pilsner Urquell, Mama's Lil Yella Pils, or anything that says Pilsner on the label. Also try some of the lighter styled American Pale Ales like Bear Republic XP, or Drake's 1500 Pale.

I also wanted to love Guinness at one time. I've tried hundreds of beers and the more I try the less I want to even bother with Guinness. There are plenty of stouts out there with fuller creamier bodies that carry less bitterness as well. If you want to get into those eventually, try one first with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Seriously. It'll add creaminess and sweetness and make it much more palatable while you get the appreciation for what a stout can be. Dig up a bottle of Great Divide's The Yeti, or Port Brewing's Old Viscosity and try it for dessert!!

If ever a team looked certain to win the World Cup but ultimately failed to do so, it was the glorious Dutch team of 1978.
The squad was filled with outstanding players like Ruud Krol, Johan Neeskens, Arie Haan, Johnny Rep, Rob Rensenbrink.
The great Johan Cruijff had retired from international football after securing the Netherlands their place in the Finals tournament and perhaps if he had decided to play the fate of the Dutch might have been different.

Perhaps the greatest impact of the 1978 Finals was the decision by Tottenham Hotspur to sign the Argentinian World Cup-winning midfield duo of Ossie Ardiles and Ricky Villa.
Their arrival in England opened the floodgates for foreign players and the lasting legacy of those pioneering signings is the fact that no fewer than 1,198 non-British & Irish Isles players have appeared in Premier League matches.
