Java GUI: How to make blinking text?
I'm using swing and both the Graphics & Graphics2D classes. I'm using g.drawString(String str) to write a text string. I want the string to blink to simulate a blinking neon sign: how do I do this? Do I try to use HTML

Which do you recommend: LG Vu, LG Neon, or Samsung Propel?
It's that time again! I'm up for a new phone (and 2 year committment) with AT&T and I am trying to decide between those three. I am a 23 year old mom and I use my phone to send pictures (never videos) of my son to friends and family, texting, and calls. I will want to download a ringtone once I get it, but I only do this once or twice a year (if that often). I like the idea of having a touchscreen phone, but I don't know if that is such great idea since I have a one year old who is very sneaky about grabbing phones. I do have small fingers so the button size on the keyboard is not that important, but I want to be able to easily text. Anyway, I'm just wondering what others think.
Oh, and since I'm signing a two year committment, they are all pretty much the same price with the Vu being $20 more than the other two. So, what do you think?

Honestly, If i were you i would get the LG Neon.
The Neon runs on edge and has a limited touch screen so it doesn't freeze. But the Vu you need a data plan or the phone is just a phone with a touch screen. Samsung aren't good phones. My Dad had the Samsung A707 and his external screen got a digital crack. And my Moms Samsung A737 got water damage when it was never in water.
Edge phones have longer battery life.But if you want you can get the propel i used all 3 at the AT&T Store. Propel has nice features like a GPS and a QWERTY. I like to text and the propel keys are good if you don't have big thumbs. Neon keys are very spacious. But they are small. The Vu has an on screen keyboard that is hard to use.
If you want the phones cheap get them through 3rd party.
