What is the best way to take digital photos of neon signs?
You'll need a camera that lets you adjust the f-stop. You can get an attachment to hold the shutter open, instead of holding the button down for time-delay photography. If you do a real slow exposure with the lens wide open, you should be able to get a good shot.

LCD advertising Displays Used In Nightclubs For Advertising
A digital poster is so versatile, this is due to the unit having a commercial grade display and a built in media player, providing a flexible yet cost effective solution.
With more and more businesses seeing dynamic advertising as a way to interactive with customers and increase sales, business owners and managers are investigating LCD advertising displays due to their low investment cost but high impact visual and audio promotions.
These units start at a small 19" display and go up to a huge 70" display, all have an integral media player that stores the ad content onto a memory card, normally CF cards.
Who is using LCD advertising displays?
Well, everyone from club owners to restaurant and hotel owner/operators. They want to move with the times and swap out their old static printed posters with digital ad displays.
Potential problem with digital posters.
The only issue that has been raised is with the kind of clientele that frequent these locations, sometime drinking too much alcohol and get violent and sometimes vandalises something in the bathroom of the club, however one company has gotten round this by designing and producing a steel ArmaPoster, this guards the digital poster from vandalism, with a thick ¼" viewing screen that has a special anti glare coating on it.
How to update content.
If you only have one location were the digital screens are located, it is easier and more cost effective to just update the content using the USB connector on the poster to upload new content and ads.
Alternatively a wireless digital poster is the solution if you have several locations, so WIFI takes the stress out of visiting each location and updating the content manually. These cost a little more but they will cost much less than the fuel you would be paying for travelling to each location excluding any labour time.
Why would nightclubs and pubs want to use digital advertising?
Well we have all seen the neon signs above the counter promoting the weeks "special beer" or cocktail, now using LCD advertising displays the manager can create a "special menu" of drinks that are on offer between a set time and schedule this using the onscreen software to show the promotion during slow periods to get people in the bar spending, then swapping to another promotion when it normally gets busier.
Club and pub owners can also sell advertising spots on their network to local taxi companies and restaurants, so when customers have finished at the bar, they can catch a taxi easier or even book a restaurant table to carry on from the nightclub or bar.
