Neon Sign Alternative
Are there any alternatives to treating goldfish finrot?
I have a fantail goldfish that has a mild case of fin rot. The edging of its tail are white and ragged. Is this a sign of the tail healing, or it getting worse? I do not have a hospital tank, so quarantining and using medication is not an option unfortunately. We do have a 10 gallon, but it is occupied right now with neon tetras. I was wondering if there were any alternatives to medications to treating fin rot.
It lives with another fantail goldfish, and the tank has java fern for plants. They are both a year old, and this is the first time one of them has become ill.
Past symptoms: In the past month, the same fantail has been pooping long white poop with air bubbles. It looks almost like jelly. I heard this is a sign of bacterial infection, so I became worried. Fortunately this has stopped. The same fantail also had a swimbladder problem, but that has also been cured with fasting and peas.
Oh and I also have added salt...for two weeks now. 
NOTE: These Medicines do not need you to quarantine your fish. AND will not disturb or Injure Healthy Fish.
For a Bacterial Infection you can add Pimafix. Its a natural made medicine that can be used in a tank with healthy fish.
Also another medicine to help with fin rot and sores is called Melafix.
I use both at the same time for treating bacterial/fungal problems.
These medicines are great and can be used in a tank with other fish.
They will not harm the healthy fish in you tank but will treat the problem fish.
You dose 5ml per 5 usa gallons. Once a day. After 7 days do 25% water change. At about 7 days you should see symptom improvement.
I currently am using both these medicines in a fully stocked tank for treating an individual fish.
Here is a tip when using the medicines.
If possible remove all or some of the carbon from the filter cartridge. This will help the medicine circulate within the tank without being sucked up and filtered.
Once again.
Melafix : Treats, Open Red Sores; Fin & Tail Rot; Eye Cloud, Pop Eye, Body Slime & Mouth Fungus; and last but not least Open Body Wounds.
Pimafix : Treats, Fungus or Cottony Growth; Mouth & Body Fungus; and Reddening of Fins and Body.
Pimafix is more for fungal and bacterial problems and Melafix is for wounds, sores and rot.
When used in conjunction they work very well and cure a wide variety of problems.

Outdoor Digital Signage – The Glitz and Glamour of Vegas on any High street
Digital signage is a new medium. LCD screens, plasmas and other flat screen displays have only been used out of home for the last decade or so.
But outdoor advertisers have always implemented technology and moving imagery and there are many famous locations where the advertisements have become famous: Piccadilly Circus in London, Times Square New York and the Strip in Las Vegas have all traditionally used colourful and bright outdoor advertisements.
However, over recent years the light bulb arrays and neon signs have been slowly replaced with LCD, plasma and LED alternatives.
These digital signage displays are more flexible, offer better colours, images and resolution than the traditional electronic signs. However, none of the glitz and glamour of these locations has been altered by the change to outdoor digital signage.
Furthermore, as the cost of outdoor digital signage is falling and more and more advertisers realise its potential, these modern and dynamic methods of digital advertising are emerging all over the country adding a touch of Vegas glamour to the dourest town, city or village.
Why go Digital
But aesthetics are not the only reason that more people are turning to digital signage as a means of advertising and brand awareness. Compared to traditional methods - print, TV or radio advertising - digital signage can reach just as large an audience but for a fraction of the costs.
There are challenges of course, ensuring these screens are protected from the rainfall and other outdoor elements, but this is easily countered by the outdoor LCD enclosure that houses the screen.
From advertising, raising brand awareness, promotional offers or just putting out information there are few better, cheaper and better looking alternatives that outdoor digital signage.
