"Bulb" usually means an incandescent filament light. These all look fairly yellow unless the bulb has been painted or tinted.
Sodium lights are different, they excite the atoms until they give off light (http://www.800mainstreet.com/spect/emission-flame-exp.html) and so are called vapor lamps.
