Leaving fish on vacation for 2 weeks?
I will be leaving my fish on vacation for two weeks, I will be using one of those vacation sticks to feed them
Is it best to leave the light OFF the whole time or ON ?

Off the whole time or you'll come home to algae problems. The fish can function just fine through ambient window lighting, and the fact is lighting is for you rather then the fish and you can leave off most of the time even when you are around and it will keep algae down. Timers as mentioned above are a good idea and pretty cheap.
FYI, those food blocks suck. They hold almost no nutrition and all filler and can pollute the water. You'd be much further ahead to get an electric feeder to dole out portion of real food, or train somebody to come in and feed them every few days.
