Neon Illuminated
What do you think about my poem?
The Lava Lamp
Its neon aura
illuminates the faces of onlookers;
Its sultry movement
pulls you into a deep trance
catching a glimpse into
its unknown world.
Two Soul mates, glide past each others moist bodies.
Their heated desire,conceives molten layers
that soon multiply,
resembling cells
in a mothers womb.
They swim,
carried upwards.
as if jellyfish
caught in constricted waters.
Once at the top
they cluster
in a desperate attempt
for survival.
But to no avail,
the globs of jelly
plunge back into their source of life,
the never ending cycle
of reincarnation.
i have to hand this in for a grade ten english class, so i need some feedback on how to improve(: thanks.
dude, that is genuinely fantastic, you remind me of me 
your use of the language is brilliant; there is just one or two places that i would constructively criticise:
firstly, i dont think you need to compare the lamp to such things as a mother's womb; in the context of the rest of the poem it is almost shock material. Maybe change the last two lines of that paragraph. (the rest of the paragraph is brilliant)
Secondly, 'constricted' does not seem like an appropriate adjective for 'waters'.
But other than that it is of a very high standard. You seem to have the timing of the lines nailed. Well done
