What is the best way to fight against frivolous lawsuits?
My mother is being sued for an accident she was in last year. The guys is suing them for $300,000.00. He was on a motorcycle in january with no lights on doing a wheely down the road. She didn't see him because the bottom of the bike is black and it was dusk. He hit the rear end of her car while she was crossing the road. Not only is this happening, but she is going through cancer right now as well. My parents cannot afford this. If anyone has any answers...I am all ears. I unfortunately know people that try to take advantage of the judicial system and win. How can we stop "sue-happy" people?!
Move to Canada..we don't tolerate those types of things here.

"Looking for adventure? And whatever comes your way? For those of us born to be wild, nothing proves as alluring as the open road, particularly when you are treading the same path of many stars before you. The scope for spontaneity and escape from the monotony of everyday life has appealed to men and women alike, but no route has struck a chord with road trippers quite like the famous Route 66. Made famous by Jack Kerouac's 'On The Road', the route has featured in scores of books and films, has had songs dedicated to it and is generally considered a national treasure. It is no surprise therefore that Route 66 is now widely regarded as the 'mother road', and the trip itself something of a rebirth. Stretching cross-country straight through the heart of America, offering a sample of all the different walks of the US in one scenic route. Consequently, Route 66 has a strong appeal to people of all ages and from all walks of life. After all whatever you want out of America, Route 66 probably offers it. Cities and saloons, bright lights and cacti, the route has it all. However, in the same way the cat might get your tongue when you meet your hero, planning such a trip can often be daunting. The scope for danger is prominent and the last thing you want is a car malfunction in the dusty Arizona desert. Fortunately however, there are now companies offering survival kit packages ensuring you will have the equipment for partying with no holds barred. Although the movie claims to start off in Oklahoma, as the two protagonists try to escape through a bizarre desert route to Mexico avoiding Texas, the actual film was shot in a variety of locations from Las Vegas to Denver. Follow the route and prepare to be blown away (but not off a cliff).
New Mexico to California: Little Miss Sunshine
This heartwarming film sees a dysfunctional, but positively relatable family, drive against the odds to California to enter their adorable little girl into the Little Miss Sunshine competition. Although this route runs parallel to Route 66, it is actually on I-40, and though the magic of 66 certainly lives in this film, I-40 is well worth a look-in.
Nebraska to Denver: About Schmidt
Alexander Payne's underrated film starring Jack Nicholson sees the morbid Schmidt drive his motorhome from Omaha, Nebraska to nearby Denver, Colorado. Yes, he is old, but he is having a good time, in the way only the open road can give.
