Monochrome Single
I need help identifying this Smith-Corona typewriter?
In the mid-1980s Smith Corona had a typewriter that was more like a computer. It had a green monochrome monitor that hooked up to it and had these weird looking quick data tapes that the user would insert into the machine (similar to the old "Quick Data Disk" (QDD) from Entrepo).
All I really remember about the machine was that just loading the directory of a tape took upwards of a minute, while just finding a single file could take 30 seconds (depending on the length of the tape). Once found, the files would load fairly quickly, however.
Does anyone know what model Smith Corona typewriter this is? I seem to recall it as early as 1985, and no later than 1987. The typewriter portion of the unit plugged into the main hardware unit, which looked like the older horizontal style of PC cases from back in the 386/486 days.
The tapes themselves stored approximately 64 to 170 KB and were charcoal black with labels. They were larger than microcassettes, about 1.5 times larger.

ID3: A new dimension in 3D vision
ID3 facilitates the measurement of height, volume, shape and profile through three distinct segments of the vision system. Capture: illumination & capture
A combination of specially made optics and light sources input a multiple illumination color sequence to a monochrome sensor, synchronized with the image capture.
Inspect: Image processing
ID3 utilizes an embedded smart USB2.0 camera to manage and process the alternating images flow. The captured data is pre processed in the embedded DSP, saving time and resources from the Host processor and either the raw data is transferred, or a processed 3D.
Grade: Image Generation
After the camera triggered illumination sequence, the ID3 system outputs the gathered live video by interchanging the images according to their placement and time. This video is then displayed using a 3D monitor, which is capable of page flip mode, or just with simple 3D red/blue glasses, and is perceived as a viable 3D object.
