Molson Canada Beer

Can I cross into Canada by foot (but into RURAL Canada)?
I mean a pedestrian border crossing, but not like Windsor or Niagara Falls or a Casino, but a crossing where there's nothing for 180 kilometers to the nearest town. (And carry a water bottle and a backpack and a Molson beer.)
I want to cross into a rural part of New Brunswick from the USA state of Maine. When crossing, I want to tell the customs official my destination is Whitehorse and I plan to walk the route.
Will they give me a hard time at the border?
I want to try this walk in January and I want to do the walk in a CFL T-shirt and a pair of boxer shorts, and no sweatshirts.
if you're in the Yukon with a T-shirt, unless it snows hard? You can keep warm by putting the shirt over your head and breathing in your nose, breathing OUT under your shirt so your breath keeps you warm. That's how I'll survive
It's funny I have red hair, I AM an 'Eric the Red'
Promise you one thing Eric -
If you are even a tad overweight you will not be when you finish this walk. If you eat properly you will be a gorgeously muscled and fit guy that the girls will swoon over.
Of course, if you do not eat properly, you could become wolf fodder - not fun at all I hear so be sure to eat properly.
Oh and dress warmly if you are leaving any day soon - winter is fast approaching.
Good Luck!
P.S. Send post cards
Edit: Oh! The groaners you and Michael write, Eric! Too funny
