y do i feel this when im high?
i smoke weed frequently and i was wondering if i was the only one to feel these effects cuz my friends say they dont feel them. i buy from soo many diffrent people n still feel the same way with all of their weed. idk maybe it has to do with the fact i have adhd. but i buy from so many people n it still makes me feel the same way so i know the $h!t isnt laced.
anyways, i feel this when im high every single time and sometimes not as bad:
- everything seems to slow down and go in slow motion.
- everything seems to drag on.
- really fast heart beat that i can feel throughout my body.
- i sometimes see in frames(like a strobe light) but that depends on if im in a room of light.
- minutes seem like hours.
- very intense slow feeling throughout your body live lava churning of sumthin.
- vision is a little delayed.
- feeling very dreamy.
- your memory seems to restart every 3 to 5 seconds.
- everything jus seems to pulse like your hearing and eye sight and jus moving.

Lava Light Effect
Lava Lanes - Showtec, Installation Completed January 2010
Think of a bowling alley and most will associate it with being a family oriented place with flashing lights, games machines, pool tables, burger bars and kids play areas. Well be prepared for a whole new type of ten pin bowling in the presence of Lava Lanes.
From its concept, Lava Lanes was intended to offer a grown up version of bowling in an adult and stylish venue. With it's own fine dining restaurant and a cocktail bar that looks through to the ten pin bowling lanes through a glass wall, Lava Lanes provides a unique combination of luxury surroundings and entertainment all in one.
Showtec was enlisted to run the project from its notion through to the building, decorating and opening, and recruiting of the venue, simply handing the keys of the fully fitted, up and running business to the owners at the end of the project.
From Idea to Reality
After many initial meetings and discussions with the customer, the Showtec design team put together a package for the complete project, covering all aspects of the venue which was then simply an empty shell. Our construction team then started work, including electricians, plumbers and builders who were all coordinated together by our project manager.
There are four bowling lanes, keeping it as a boutique style bowling experience. They run directly through the centre of the building being the main feature of the venue. Our designers wanted to add something individual and never seen before, to separate this bowling alley from the usual High Street family bowling alleys. So, a specialist team were appointed to design a video mapping system which would incorporate with the bowling machines as they were being played. Keeping with the theme of the venue and its name, a smouldering volcano video mapping image was projected above each of the lanes, which erupted when any of the bowlers achieved a strike. Using four independent projectors, each lane works individually, triggering from the bowling machines; the idea behind this was also that it gives the players a more fun sense of the game instead of just a score board.
Impressive Features
To give the venue an impressive effect upon customers entering a number of impressive custom design features were implemented throughout the venue. In the two main areas where the bowling and the bar are, two walls were fabricated giving it a 'wavy' effect, which ripples along their length. This was finished in a custom-made gold and wood finish; each strip was meticulously cut to size and hand fitted to the rounded surface. Along the ceiling, a row of colour changing LEDs were fitted to spotlight down onto these walls to add to the effect while creating a subtle changing mood effect in the room.
Upon entering the venue through the main doors, a selection special-effect projectors cover the walls simulating fire and lava, with the idea being that customers are immersed in the experience of the venue as soon as they step inside.
The venue is in the basement, so from the entrance customers are taken on a journey downstairs. At the foot of the stairs, a mirrored glass box greets customers under their feet where a display of gold bowling pins with colour changing LEDs shining through, create a stunning effect. A novel way to welcome people to this exciting venue.
Technically… it's Sound!
A ‘simple to use sound system' was the remit from the owner of Lava Lanes, and so a system was designed by Showtec that would be simple to use, but with excellent quality sound from aesthetically pleasing speakers. On this occasion, the Evid series from EV was selected as they provide a perfect solution to fit the requirements that we were given. A combination of Evid 6.2 and 3.2 midtop and 12.1 bass bins were fitted throughout Lava Lanes to create a warm sound and capability of higher volume levels when required. Controlled by a Cloud zone system with wall mount remote controls in each area, the sound system is simple to use with members of staff easily able to change volume levels and source selection.
A selection of plasma screens were also installed in various positions throughout the venue to enable to Lava Lanes customers to view either DVD video or Sky TV from one of two boxes, by way of a video matrix switcher.
The Outcome
Taken as a whole, Lava Lanes is the first ten pin bowling venue that offers a very high standard of entertainment to its customers, with a bowling experience that is second to none set in stylish surroundings.
This is a superb illustration of how innovative design concepts blended with state of the art technical equipment can be put into great effect to produce a simply stunning and groundbreaking venue.
